The Philosophy Behind The NESS Fest

It’s simple: you deserve to be the best version of yourself.

We live in a world where we’re constantly told exactly what to do to look and feel better. To “be” better. But trust us: there’s no overnight secret to contentment and there’s certainly no one-size-fits-all answer. We all deserve health, happiness, comfort, and all of the other joyful parts of life that make us whole—even though that looks different for everyone.

So what do happiness, health, and comfort mean to you? We at The NESS Fest are passionate about helping you find those answers within yourself. Dig deep. Celebrate your own uniqueness, enjoy the things that make you feel good, and take care of your beautifully authentic self.

Our Festival & The Four Pillars

Meet The NESS Fest Team

Brenda Luginbill

CEO/Founder

Favorite wellNESS: Acupuncture
Favorite goodNESS: Cheese and wine
Favorite fitNESS: Dancing like no one (or everyone) is watching!
Favorite wholeNESS: Singing

Brenda has been a leader in the event industry since 2003. She moved from Los Angeles to Greenville with her husband in 2009 and launched cb events, a full event production company. In 2014, Brenda launched her second company, Industry Event Rentals, that specializes in lounge furniture and decor for events.

Brenda founded The NESS Fest in 2017 out of her desire to give back to her community and her passion for helping others discover the best version of themselves. In the festival’s third year, Brenda’s passion to inspire and motivate the Upstate as a whole is stronger than ever.

In 2019, Brenda's husband Nathan opened Wine House, A Shop and Tasting Room. When she’s not off running her three companies like the boss that she is, you can find her at Nathan’s shop enjoying a glass of great wine (most likely still working on her computer, because those companies don’t just run themselves!).

Allie Knight

Festival Director/Producer

Favorite wellNESS: Brenda got me hooked on acupuncture!
Favorite goodnESS: Sunday night Chinese food takeout with my husband
Favorite fitNESS: Barre at Booty Shop and any Adrenaline Dance Fitness class
Favorite wholenESS: Being by the ocean

She may be a proud New Yorker, but Allie has happily called the South home for the last ten years. Graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2011, Allie immersed herself in all things foodie after moving to Greenville and ultimately became Event Director to the city’s premier food, wine and music festival, Euphoria.

Staying true to her passion for food, beverage and hospitality, Allie spent some time working for a PR firm specializing in all the above. After realizing her love for the event industry was something she couldn’t ignore, she joined the CB Events team in July of 2017 as an Event Producer.

With a drive to make a true impact on her community, Allie helped launch The NESS Fest in 2017 and currently serves as the Festival Director/Producer. When she’s not out producing awesome events, you can likely find her binge watching the latest Netflix series at home with her husband, Corey.
